Glider - the bike fitter's bike Was primarily inspired by our experience as bike fitters over the last seven years . Working with and listening to thousands of clients over the last few years has given us a unique insight into what people like and dislike about their own bikes and positions. Naturally we have designed into Glider our own professional obsessions with power, efficiency and comfort.
Dedicated Avoiders of Fashion - we have also deliberately eschewed prevailing bike trends and fashions when so many of them are just that and therefore make no sense whatsoever. Every Glider is designed by us to make you perform better. Nothing else matters.

Keeping It Small - Glider frames are handmade in the UK, Northern Italy and the USA by three small factories that work to very high standards. They are hand-crafted to our own design and specification and are currently available in 4 models in off-the peg and custom sizes. We try and keep the full range in stock so you can be riding in a matter of days.
Glider Frames Fit Women! At Cyclefit we build every bike to reflect a rider's physiology – male or female. One of the biggest problems for female riders is the reach and drop to the bars, which on most bikes designed for men (and some for women) is too far and too deep respectively. This makes a rider overreach to the bars, which causes discomfort and also puts more weight on their hands.
Leaning too far forward also puts tension in the shoulders and pressure on the pelvic bone. In some cases a rider will roll their pelvis back to alleviate the pressure on hands and saddle and in so doing make the bars even further away. Glider Tupelo and Boxer frame geometry is designed to reduce the reach and drop to the bars, which increases comfort, endurance and performance.
