Paraic McGlynn To Speak At International Cyclefit Symposium #2013
We are very pleased to announce that Paraic McGlynn will be returning to the ICS in 2013 following his extremely popular presentation at last year's edition.
Paraic has been coaching and fitting elite athletes since 1991 when he became a full time coach educator active in cycling research.
More recently, Paraic relocated to the US in 2000 and has been heavily involved in cycling fitting technology and education. Paraic was one of the key development staff in the eSoles Custom Footbeds before joining SICI in 2008 as their Director of Cycling Sciences.
Paraic is a Dartfish Certified Analyst and has a passion for 2D and 3D analysis and technologies. Jules and Phil (Cyclefit) worked with Paraic on all of the European SICI classes.
In 2011 Paraic was involved in the development of “FASTER” a state of the art cycling performance facility with a wind tunnel, retail, physical therapy, performance testing, cutting edge bike fitting and training recovery suite.
CYCLOLOGIC is Paraic's latest project; it is the world's first independent Cycling Biomechanics and Performance research and education facility.
Paraic's presentation will explore:
“Real world kinematics, biometrics and biomechanics”,
essentially analysing what the differences and implications of data captured in the Fit Studio against that measured in the Real World.
