The No. 22 Drifter X

Faster everywhere - Aggressive handling and high stiffness under power make the Drifter X fast on any surface.

Drifter X

Sometimes less is more. By shedding some of the Swiss-Army-Knife versatility of the popular Drifter model, the Drifter X gains sharpness and focus for aggressive rides. With quick handling built around up to 700 x 45mm tyres, a short wheelbase, and high levels of drivetrain stiffness the Drifter X is ready for gravel races or fast riding on mixed surfaces.

Compared to the Drifter model, the Drifter X features shorter chainstays and reduced stack for more aggressive handling, as well as construction upgrades such as a tapered head tube with internal headset and titanium seat mast together with our bespoke cast titanium mast topper.

What our clients say

  • "A highly personalized and very friendly service, giving good advice and adjustments that are helpful whatever level of cyclist you are."

  • "Rode my standard Box Hill loop this morning with the temp shims and more thought to position. Felt more connected and compact on the bike. Fastest ride of the year, picked up close to a km/per hour despite crappy wet pot holed roads, a ton of traffic and a couple of nights out Thu/Fri."

    Matt H

    Seven Evergreen SL

  • "Very very personalised service. You arrive, they expect you, greet you by first name, have checked your file from past visits and set out very clearly what the process will be, what issues they're looking to address and how and they are happy to take the time to walk you through everything in layman's terms. Almost any professional service entity could learn a lot from how Cyclefit works. "

    Peter G.

    Recreational rider

  • "I'm new to cycling so needed some support on finding a bike that would be right for me. Julian couldn't have been kinder or more supportive, he took time to find out what I wanted from my cycling and then looked closely at my physical structure to ensure that the bike is a comfortable fit for me. It really is a 5 star service and far exceeded my expectations."

  • "Thanks very much Phil. Did an 80 mile sportive yesterday on the road bike - perfect set up thanks; I've never been so comfortable, and no after effects! Cheers, Ian "
