LANDRACE x Sturdy Cycles Collab

UK made titanium components by Tom Sturdy

We have teamed up with Sturdy Cycles and put together a wonderful LANDRACE Tupelo build with a selection Tom Sturdy's hand made titanium components.
Sturdy Cycles workshop is in Frome, Somerset and Tom is renowned for his 3D printed road and gravel frames. We are very pleased to be working with a UK based manufacturer.

This build includes a CNC machined titanium stem that is compatible with the Chris King Aeroset 3 headset and runs the brake hose internally. It is a similar to the Enve In-riute stem. Combined with titanium spacers this is a very neat looking addition. the stem is available in 5mm increments from 80mm to 130mm and 3 different angles: -3, -6 and -9 degrees. the stem in the photos is a -6 degree stem and 110mm long. There is also available a titanium computer mount available that integrates with the stem.

The Sturdy seatpost is a combination of 3D printing and beautifully machined components, it is available in a zero setback up to 20mm setback in 5mm increments so the saddle can be clamped in the centre of the rails in its correct fore-aft position. Nice and easy angle adjustments with the two bolt/cradle system.

The CNC'd cranks are a new addition to Tom's product range and are compatible with SRAM chainrings. Available from 150mm to 180mm in 2.5mm increments, now that is interesting; especially if you are using a 3mm shim for a leg length discrepancy. Tom also makes a single titanium chainring if you want a 1x 13 gearing set-up.

We thought we would also add the Titanium T47 - Enduro XD15 Bottom Bracket to link the titanium cranks to the titanium frame and last but not least the Titanium bar end caps that look a lot nicer than the cheap plastic options available with the handlebar tape.

The sizing options of the stem, seatpost and cranks are a bike fitter's dream; helping us fine tune the fit without compromise. We are very much looking forward to getting our LANDRACE bikes out on the road with Tom's beautiful and practical components.

What our clients say

  • "I'm new to cycling so needed some support on finding a bike that would be right for me. Julian couldn't have been kinder or more supportive, he took time to find out what I wanted from my cycling and then looked closely at my physical structure to ensure that the bike is a comfortable fit for me. It really is a 5 star service and far exceeded my expectations."

    RM

    New Cyclist

  • "I have been able to ride every day since the fit. So far I have had no pain which feels like a miracle!"

    Neilson Powless

Professional Cyclist - Education First - Easypost

  • "I tried the shorter cranks today and I like them - it feels like it's less stress for the back and it seems easier to ride higher cadence. In the end I had a good Tour with no back problems. Thanks for your help!"

    Bauke Mollema
  • "I have a lot of trust in you guys and I know how you work so I think we could do something good. Orthotics feeling good."

    Tom Pidcock

World and Olympic champion, Ineos Grenadiers.

  • "A great service, full of personal touches as well as the "harder" scientific analysis of my position on the bike, which was also excellent. I feel more planted on the bike now, and came away with some really useful feedback from the session."
