Ridley Triton Fast - Triathlon Bike

Wind Tunnel tuned new Tri bike from Ridley

Ridley 1

Alex came to us looking for her first triathlon bike with a set budget, triathlon bikes do not come cheap but as we accept Halford's bike2work vouchers we were able to source the Ridley Triton Fast for her. The Ridley Triton Fast was launched last year and we are impressed with the overall design and the adaptable aero extension set-up and wide range of saddle position options. Very often customers would arrive for a Tri position fit on their Canyon Speedmax or similar that had the elbow pads so far away and so low that hey could ne ride for any length of time in the position.

By fitting the customer first an then ordering the correctly sized Tri bike we always get the best results, and to make sure all is OK we double check the position on collection.

The bike in the photos is the SRAM Rival AXS model and comes in at a reasonable £5,399.00. Prior to the advent of the Triton our go to triathlon bike was the Trek Speed Concept. However, the cheapest Speed Concept is now £7,750.00 (equipped with Shimano Ultegra Di2 Groupset and Aeolus Pro 51 wheels) so the Triton hits more peoples budgets..

The Riley Triton - like the Speed Concept through Project One - can be configured at the point of order with the correctly sized components and spec.

  • "The personal service from both Phil and Julian is second to none. They have such a wealth of experience in fitting that they can almost tell at a glance if something is just a little off. It felt as though it didn't matter how long it took to get the best position possible - even for an amateur cyclist like myself. Can't recommend them enough."

    Susan

    Cyclist

  • "I have a lot of trust in you guys and I know how you work so I think we could do something good. Orthotics feeling good."

    Tom Pidcock

  • "Very very personalised service. You arrive, they expect you, greet you by first name, have checked your file from past visits and set out very clearly what the process will be, what issues they're looking to address and how and they are happy to take the time to walk you through everything in layman's terms. Almost any professional service entity could learn a lot from how Cyclefit works."
